What began as a hobby beekeeper quickly grew into a business after outgrowing our back garden. Today, we produce premium raw honey, offering the public a product exactly as the bees intended — pure, natural, and unprocessed.
Honey sourced Hillside & Beyond
Our hives are located on the rural hillsides of Saddleworth and in carefully selected urban apiaries across Chadderton, allowing our bees to forage from a rich and varied landscape - in turn aiding them to produce rich tasting Honey!

We use Buckfast bees for their calm nature, strong work ethic, and reliability — making them a favourite among both new and experienced beekeepers. Originally developed by Brother Adam at Buckfast Abbey, these bees were carefully bred for their gentle temperament, productivity, and resilience.
They are excellent foragers, making the most of available nectar and pollen, which helps produce consistent, high-quality honey. Buckfast bees are also known for their good colony strength and reduced tendency to swarm when well managed.
Their calm behaviour makes them a pleasure to work with, whether you’re checking hives in the garden or managing an apiary. All of this makes Buckfast bees a dependable, hardworking choice for beekeepers who value healthy colonies and steady honey production.

Alongside our excellent raw honey, we also offer bee nucs for purchase, giving others the opportunity to experience the joy of beekeeping themselves.
